Whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, water, vegetable oil, and garlic together in a large bowl; drop beef slices into the mixture and stir to coat.   1. Marinate beef, sugar and soy sauce in a bowl, wrap with plastic wrap and put in the fridge at least 30 minutes or overnight

  3. Add buk choy in a plate and on top with beef, serve with streamed rice.

But here beef teriyaki isn't usually cooked for daily meals. Usually it is served for large events or big occasions such as a wedding or a buffet. Sometimes we can find it in a Japanese restaurant, too. Thread beef and pineapple alternately on metal skewers or soaked wooden skewers. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over steak.
