  8. Get ¾ Cup Mozzarella cheese grated or as required
  9. Make ready Pista (Pistachio) powdered or thinly chopped
  10. Get caramel syrup
  11. Prepare Pistachios, Almonds and cashews (crushed) for layer in between
Instructions to make Caramel and Cheese Kunafeh:
  1. For Sugar syrup:

In saucepan,add sugar,water and cook until sugar is dissolved.

  1. Add lemon juice, mix well and cook until thickens & set aside.
  2. In bowl,add vermicelli and crush well.

Add butter and mix properly.

  1. Taka out half quantity of butter coated vermicelli in a separate bowl and reserve for later use.
  2. Add yellow food colour, mix well & set aside.
  3. In baking pan,add colored coated vermicelli and spread evenly.
  4. Add ricotta cheese or khoya and crumbled it with the help of the hands and spread evenly.
  5. Add mozzarella cheese and spread it, and crushed Almonds and pistachios and caramel sauce 1tsp, lose the edges and again add a layer of reserved butter coated vermicelli.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 20-25 minutes
  7. After baking, pour generously warm sugar syrup and garnish with pistachios and caramel toffee.
