- Wash lobia phali & peel off the thin skin layer from both sides(phali ky side py bareek dhagy sa fiber hota hy, top side sy phali ko peel karain to utar jye ga).as shown in pic.
- Heat oil in a pan,add slice onion, fry till pink.then add zeera,let it pop. Add cutti lal mirch,salt,haldi,ginger garlic paste & fry till oil comes out. Add kalonji.
- Add chop tomato & fry till soft.add lobia phali, fry well in masala.add diced aloo (potato),mix well.cover & cook over low -medium heat till both are tender.water from Aloo & phali helps in cook.check in betwen. If needed then add little water.
- When colour of phali is changed & aloo are soft & water is absorbed,add sabut lal mirch (optional) & imli ka pulp.cover &turn off heat.garnish with ginger julians.lemons can increase flavour also.serve hot with chapati & enjoy with Cookpad.
