  6. Now add salt and stir well for 5 minutes
  7. Add a cup of water and let it boil then simmer it for 20 minutes
  8. Now add the chopped gourd and simmer it for another 15 minutes
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve it with hot chapati or white rice
