Cover casserole dish tightly with aluminum foil. Spread the potato slices in the baking dish and cover with the spinach. Pour the cream over the top and shake the dish to distribute evenly. Layer half of the potato slices in dish, overlapping slightly. Spread the spinach on top of the potato slices.
