The only daunting task in breadfruit curry preparation is peeling, slicing and removing fibrous part from it. Once done it just takes few minutes to cook them. YES.breadfruit needs little time to be soft, if you overcook them the slices will be mushy and the breadfruit curry loses the taste and texture. - Take all the masala ingredients in a required quantity.
- Grind together all the masala ingredients and make a fine paste. And keep it aside
- Take a vessel and keep it on a stove.. put a tsp of oil. Add curry leaves and onion.. salute it till transparent. Add salt
- Then add bread fruits to the bagaar and mix well. Cook it for 5 mins with a lid closed.
- Add ground masala to the breadfruit mixture.. mix well and simmer it for again 5 minutes..
- Add water.. make sure the consistency should be thin. Bring it to boil and add tamarind.
- Cook till breadfruit cooks completely..
- Serve hot with ghee rice
