- Make ready 5-6 bread slices (chopped in bite size pieces)

- Take 1 cup grated jaggery
- Prepare 1 tbsp sugar
- Take 1 tsp cardamom powder

Boondis are very small, round deep fried balls that have been soaked in fragrant sugar. Boondi Ladoo - I have helped my mom making Boondi ladoo / Boondhi Laddu recipe from my childhood.
Steps to make Bread Ladoo:
- Melt 3 tbsp homemade ghee in a pan. Add 5-6 chopped bread slices and roast till they turn crunchy. Remove from flame and allow it to cool.
- Melt 2 tbsp homemade ghee in a pan. Add 2 tbsp dry grated coconut and roast well. Remove and let it cool. In the same pan roast 1 tbsp poppy seeds. Remove & let it cool.
- In the same pan roast 1 tbsp garden cress seeds (haleem). Remove & let it cool.
- Melt 1 cup grated jaggery in a pan. Add roasted bread, garden cress seeds, dry grated coconut, poppy seeds, 1 tsp cardamom powder, 1 tbsp sugar, pinch of salt, chopped mix dry fruits and mix well. Remove the mixture from the flame.
- When the mixture turns warm, roll it into ladoos. Garnish with chopped dry fruits & serve.
