Instructions to make Arbi  Ka  Salan:
  1. Wash arbi properly and boiled in pressure cooker for 4 whistles. Once it is done. Cool it and peel it and keep aside
  2. Dry roast groundnuts, poppy seeds, sesame seeds,cumin seeds, coriander seeds, dry coconut for few minutes. Cool it and blend it in a mixi and make a paste. Keep aside
  3. Heat oil in kadai. For tempering add mustard seeds, curry leaves and cumin seeds. Fry for few minutes. Then add chopped onion. Cover and cook till it become light brown in colour.
  4. Add all the dry masala, hing, salt. Add the masala paste, sugar and tamarind pulp. Mix…well.
  5. Cover and cook for few minutes. Add water as nedeed. Cook till arbi is become tender and till it become gravy. Taste it. If you want to add salt. It is upto you. Once it is done.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate. Arbi ka Salan is Ready. Enjoy…with hot…steam rice and fried dal…….
