  1. Marinate chicken with little salt and curd for an hour.Heat oil and fry the chicken.Set aside and sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala.Add chopped onion and fry.Meanwhile soak raisins and dates.Make a paste of it alongwith cashewnuts,fennel seeds and 1 tsp poppy seed.Add tomato puree and fresh cream to the ground paste and mix well.Mix this ground paste to the frying onion.

Add the marinated chicken,salt,food colour, turmeric and red chilli powder.Toss all and add 1 cup water.Add crushed kasoori methi and few chopped dates.Add 1 tsp ghee and boil till chicken is done and the texture is silky.Sprinkle chopped coriander and 2 slit green chillies.Serve with mitha pulao, jeera rice or paratha.
