Keep the paste aside until needed again. Put a deep-bottomed pan on low flame and heat ghee in it. Then add the prepared chana dal paste in it. Once soaked well, put dal in sieve, drain extra water.

- Wash chana dal and make it dry with a cloth
- Now take a pan,add two table spoon ghee and add chana dal,cook it till it becomes crispy and changes colour,ghee will left here
- Let it cool down and grind it in grinder by adding cardamom into it
- Now take a wok or pan, add sugar and milk into it and let the milk boil and mix the sugar into it
- After bringing it to one boil, add dal paste that is grinded in grinder and add remaining ghee that was left add that in milk now and 1 tsp ghee more
- Cook it untill it becomes thick It's done
- Take a big plate and apply ghee on the pan and spread the mixture on plate and cut it into desired shape
- Now garnish it with almonds
