  1. Take 1 cup chana dal
  2. Take 1 cup corn
  3. Make ready 1 cup fenugreek leaves
  4. Take 1 onion
  5. Make ready 2 Green chilli
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  7. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. Make ready 1 pinch asafoetida
  9. Get Salt
  10. Take Oil for frying

Instructions to make Chana dal and corn wada:
  1. Wash and chop fenugreek leaves along with onion and green chillies
  2. Grind soaked chana dal with green chilli and ginger to a coarse paste, use very little water
  3. In a bowl take chana dal paste, corn, chopped fenugreek leaves, onion and chillies
  4. Add asafoetida, cumin seeds and salt as needed, mix well.
  5. In a kadai/pan heat up oil for deep frying, make wadas in desired shape and fry on medium heat till done.
  6. Serve hot with mint-coriander chutney

Transfer the lentils to a blender. How to make Andhra Style Corn Vada Recipe. To begin with Andhra Style Corn Vada, add soaked and drained chana dal, corn kernels, ginger, green chilies, curry leaves and dry chilies in a mixer grinder and make a coarse paste out of it. Take a mixing bowl and transfer this coarse paste in it. Add gram flour, chopped coriander leaves, cumin seeds.
