The ingredients needed to make Meatloaf:
  1. Get 400 g Pork Mince
  2. Take 400 g Beef Mince
  3. Get 6-12 slices Bacon Any kind of bacon with do i like using Smoked bacon and if your using thinner bacon use more to cover the loaf obviously
  4. Prepare 1 egg
  5. Take 2 sticks celery
  6. Make ready 1 large onion
  7. Make ready 50 ml Double cream
  8. Get 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  9. Take 2 tbsp Garlic powder
  10. Get 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  11. Prepare 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  12. Make ready 1 tbsp salt
  13. Prepare 3 tsp mustard any kind of mustard will do powdered or mixed
  14. Get 2 tbsp Demerara sugar
  15. Make ready 2 tbsp pepper

The meatloaf is versatile as well. Change your everyday meatloaf up with different seasoning or herb blends or use. Slang term used for a woman's vagina. Pronounced with heavy emphasis on the word I put that white sausage gravy on it.

Steps to make Meatloaf:
    1. Start off by chopping and dicing the celery, onion and carrots and putting them into a frying pan
    1. For the glaze, get a saucepan and put 1/2 a cup of tomato sauce along with the white wine vinegar, the sugar, 1tbsp of mustard and finally 1tbsp of garlic powder.
    1. Now take the pans to the hob and put a medium heat for both, you want to lightly fry the vegetables and mix together the glaze and bring to a light simmer. Once the vegetables have softened and onions have gone translucent take off the heat to cool down. When the glaze has started lightly bubbling take that off the heat also to let cool down.
    1. While the veg is cooling down we can work on the meat. Start off by dicing half the bacon and putting it into a bowl along with the minced pork and minced beef then get your hands in there to combine it all together.
    1. Now the meats all together add the breadcrumbs, double cream, 1tbsp garlic powder, the salt, the pepper, 2tbsp mustard, an egg, and the cooled vegetables once they've stopped steaming then knead all that goodness in until fully combined.
    1. At this point, you want to preheat your oven to 200 and get a lined baking tray and your cooled down glaze. Also, get some oil, any oil will do and lightly oil the baking tray spreading it with your hands, then plop the meat onto the tray and shape into a loaf.
    1. Get the rest of the bacon and wrap your loaf with it this will seal in some of the juices? Now pour half the glaze onto the loaf and spread it out covering the loaf and put into the oven for 50 minutes, glazing again halfway through at 25 minutes.
    1. Take the loaf out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes then slice and serve up!

Meatloaf is an old-school recipe that everyone should know how to make. It might not be the sexiest piece of food, but damn is it delish. Especially in a sandwich the next day OR with a fried egg on top. Meatloaf is easy, tasty and cheap. It's not the most glamorous, but it's what we want.
