Ceviche is the best known Peruvian dish. This popular seafood dish claims origins in Lima, Peru but is found in many coastal areas throughout Latin America such as Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia. Ceviche is the national dish of Peru consisting of slices of raw fish or shellfish that is spiced with salt, onions, and chili peppers, then marinated in lime juice.

Ceviche is one of the most favored of current trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions every day. They are fine and they look wonderful. Ceviche is something that I’ve loved my whole life.

The ingredients needed to make Ceviche:
  1. Take Potato
  2. Get 1 Sweet potato
  3. Make ready 1 cinnamon stick
  4. Get 5-10 cloves
  5. Get 1 tbsp sugar

  7. Make ready 200 g fish e.g cod
  8. Prepare 2 limes
  9. Take 1 onion
  10. Make ready 1/2 red Chilli (adjust depending on heat preferences)
  11. Get 1 tsp ginger (crushed or chopped)
  12. Make ready 1 clove garlic (crushed or chopped)
  13. Prepare to taste Coriander, salt and pepper
  14. Make ready Condensed milk- if too acidic

Steps to make Ceviche:
  1. Peel the sweet potato and cut into chunks
  2. Boil the sweet potato chunks in a pan with the cinnamon, cloves and sugar until tender then leave to side (approx 25 minutes)
  3. Cut the fish into 10p pieces
  4. Mix the fish with the juice of the limes, the chopped onion and the other ingredients
  5. Leave to ‘cook’ in the acid for 10 minutes
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add some condensed milk if acid is too strong
  7. Serve with the sweet potato and some corn
