- Fry the onion in the pan until light brown. Now add the rest of the bacon fat.
- Put your plate on a low heat and whisk in the flour.
- Begin adding the cream bit by bit, whisking it constantly so that it doesn't get lumpy, now do the same with the milk. Stop adding milk when it reaches a gravy like consistency, or add more if it's too thick.
- Chop up the bacon and add to the gravy. Add the salt and pepper and simmer for 5 minutes while stirring.
- Serve on bread with egg
