- Pour the oil, splutter poppy seeds when oil gets hot. Add the Onions and Ginger chopped and saute.
- Add Chopped garlic, Green Chillies, Close the pan/vessel with a lid and let the onion cook in low flame/temparature till it turns light golden colour.
- Now add water enough to sink the onions and close the lid and heat in low flame so that the onion gets cooked.
- Add Chilli powder, Coriander powder and turmeric powder (adjust the amount depending on how spicy u need it)
- Add the Tomatoes and Curry leaves now and allow it to get cooked well in low flame.
- Now, the secret ingredient. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon sugar to the cooked dish and mix well.
- Done :)
