The ingredients needed to make Coconut Ladoos:
- Prepare 2 coconut, peel off and grate white
- Prepare 1 ltr full cream milk
- Get 2 table spoon condensed milk or milk powder
- Make ready 1 katori sugar
So if possible, use fresh coconut. Also these coconut ladoos can be made in so many ways, these I made using condensed milk but one can also make them in the traditional way using sugar syrup. The condensed milk just saves time. Also keep the coconut ladoo mixture at low heat.
Steps to make Coconut Ladoos:
- First peel off coconut and grate it. Put a kadai on flame, add milk and keep on boiling then add grated coconut to it and stir it continuously till it becomes to half.
- Add sugar and milk powder to it and stir it continuously till it gets ready for binding.
- Put off the flame and let cool down the mixture, now take a very small portion of mixture and make small round shape Ladoos, do the same with all.
- You can keep them in air tight container in fridge and have whenever you want.No one can resist the taste.
When the coconut milk comes to a good boil, add half to the coconut mixture. Coconut ladoo,called as Nariyal Ka ladoo in Hindi and Thengai Ladoo in Tamil. I have made this coconut laddu without condensed milk. When it comes to easy festival sweets recipes, my priority goes to ladoo recipes. This coconut laddu was in my try list for years I should say.
