Strain the water kefir into a jug through a plastic-mesh sieve. The grains will collect in the sieve. Bottle your brewed kefir water and cap it, then either store in the fridge or leave it out for another couple of days to ferment further. When the two days are up, prepare a new container of sugar water. Drain the kefir grains from the original container of water kefir and place them in the new container.
