  9. Make ready 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  10. Get 1 tsp Chat Masala
  11. Get 1 tsp Dry Mango powder or Amchur homemade
  12. Prepare 2 tbsp Oil
  13. Take 2 Onions finely chopped
  14. Take 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
Instructions to make Mixed Pulses Jor Garam:
  1. Soak all the pulses for 4-5 hours or better still overnight. Boil them using a minimum quantity of water along with salt as per taste.
  2. The water should be dried and hence use a minimum of water. Do not drain the water ever. Cover it and boil until soft. It should not be mushy at all. Take care of that.
  3. In a Kadai, heat Oil and add Mustard Seeds at first followed by Asafoetida. And then add the rest of the spices along with the Pulses. You can use Lemon juice instead of Amchur.
