- In a nonstick flat griddle, spread some oil, heat over medium heat, and pour one ladle of batter on it.
- Spread it out into a circle up to 6 inches in diameter, or smaller if your ladle is smaller. Sprinkle some chopped onions, or diced tomato, or green chillies, or a combination on the batter. Pour a teaspoon of oil around the edges.
- Let it cook for 2-1/2 minutes, and flip. Let it cook again for a minute.
