  1. Take 4 kg foraged apples
  2. Get 5 cups water
  3. Take Hand full of plums and grapes

Bring juice, pectin and food coloring (if using) to a boil. Wipe rims clean and screw on the lids. Once jars have cooled, remove rings, date and label jars. Transfer crushed apples to a sieve or cheesecloth.

Instructions to make Apple jelly juice:
  1. Fill bottom section of steam juicer with water.
  2. Wash cut and check for grubs in the apples
  3. Chop and core to remove the seeds. The seeds contain small traces of arsenic. Steam apples for 1 hour then I always throw in plums and grapes. Continue to steam untill the middle chamber fills to about 5 cups worth.
  4. Bottle drink and enjoy. I always store in the fridge.

Let drip into a bowl until all liquid has drained, pressing gently to release all the juice. Stir sugar into juice; add butter to reduce foaming. Mix the (apple or grape) juice with the pectin in a large sauce pan ; over high heat quickly bring the mixture to a hard boil. Pour into jelly bag or cheesecloth-lined colander over a bowl to separate juice. Allow to drain without pressing or forcing juice from the apples for the clearest jelly.
