Steps to make Anzeer- pak:
  1. In a pan give a Boil to sugar syrup and add cardamom powder to it.
  2. Place washed figs in the syrup and cook till figs turn soft and all water evaporates.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Coat each fig in roasted poppy seeds.
  5. Garnish with whole cashews by keeping each cashew in the center of each fig and press to stick it as shown in image.
  6. Anzeer- pak is ready to serve

The sweetness for this burfi comes from the dried figs and little amount of dates and a good amount of mixed nuts are used to add crunch and volume.
