Instructions to make Mabou-tofu:
  1. Chop the onion finely and cut the tofu in 2cm dise
  2. Fry onion and mints beef with a little oil in a big fring pan until onion become clear color
  3. Add other ingredients except arrowroot. After simmer 5 mins, add arrowroot paste (1 tbsp arrowroot & 3tbsp water) for stickiness
  4. Serve it on rice or separately

It has a spicy, pungent, and appetizing flavor that goes perfectly with steamed rice. Mapo Tofu is a Chinese dish but it is also very popular in Japan. The dish goes great with steamed rice!
