The ingredients needed to make Chocolate Truffles:
  1. Take 150 gm For truffles; dark chocolate
  2. Take 70 gm milk chocolate
  3. Make ready 100 ml fresh cream
  4. Make ready 1 teaspoon butter or coconut oil
  5. Take 100 gm Decoration; White chocolate
  6. Prepare 100 gm Dark chocolate

In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and milk; stir until smooth. Do not use chocolate chips because they will not melt into truffle consistency. Use milk chocolate for sweeter truffles or semi-sweet/dark chocolate for extra rich truffles. Truffles are the simplest of candy to make; cream, chocolate, and time is all it takes to create something blissfully elegant, decadent, and delicious.

Steps to make Chocolate Truffles:
  1. Keep a vessel with water up to one inch height and heat on meduim flame.
  2. Place a larger bowl over the vessel, so the steam from water doesn't enter the bowl.
  3. Add chopped dark and milk chocolate into the bowl once the water has started to heat.
  4. Add room temperature fresh cream and coconut oil into the chocolates.
  5. Mix with a clean and dry spoon
  6. Lower the flame if water starts boiling.
  7. Once the chocolate is completely melted remove from heat.
  8. Pour this mixture in an airtight container and allow it to cool over kitchen counter.
  9. Once Cool, you will see that the mixture starts to harden. Keep in refridgerator to harden well for 4-5 hours or overnight
  10. Once done remove from fridge. You can easily pinch and make balls from the chocolate mixture.
  11. Grease your palms with some coconut oil and make equal size balls.
  12. Place on a tray lined with butter paper
  13. Now to decorate you an use your imagination and play with it.
  14. I have melted white chocolate in double boiler method and added yellow colour to portion of it.
  15. Also melted some dark chocolate and kept ready. Took a portion of it and poured in piping bag for decorating
  16. Dip the prepared truffle balls in the chocolates and roll over chopped dry fruits or sprinklers
  17. Place over butter paper and pipe designs of your choice.
