  6. Get 1 tsp chopped adrak(ginger)
  7. Prepare 2 tsp lemon juice

  9. Take 1/2 tsp lal mirchi (red chilli)powder
  10. Get 1/4 tsp garam masala
  11. Get 1 pinch Haldi(Turmeric) powder
  12. Take 2 tsp Chopped hara dhania( coriander leaves)
  13. Take 1 tsp ghee
  14. Make ready 1 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
  15. Take 1 tbs tamarind chutney(sweet)

Top with some sev or papdis if you want. The dal should be cooked to the point where the moong dal grain is still intact and there is some bite to the dal. Once the dal is cooked, drain, cool it and mix it with the boiled potatoes. Add the diced onions, cilantro and green chilli to the dal mix.

Instructions to make Moong Dal Chaat:
  1. First wash and soak moong daal for 2-3 hours.
  2. Then heat a pan. add ghee, jeera, adrak green chilli. Keep stir.
  3. Add dal and all spices.Add some water and cover it.
  4. Cook for 5-10 min. Keep stir and cook.
  5. Check it when cook. Off the flame.
  6. Then add lemon juice, hara dhania, meethi chutney(tamarind).
  7. Mix well.garnish with coriander and serve.y ou can add pomegranate in it.

In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt and imli chutney. Moong dal is ground and made as pakoda, with which we make this delicious chaat. This has been in my phone sent by my friend Sangeeta.
