  3. Melt the chocolate in the bain marie.(hot water bath)
  4. And Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into the egg moulds. Swirl it around so that melted chocolate starts to move around and cover the inside of the mould.
  5. Make sure melted chocolate meets the edges of the egg mould. - Pop the moulds into the fridge for 15 minutes and allow to set. You will have to repeat the process for second time. Wait for another 15 minutes for the second chocolate layer to set.
  6. Then gently ease the mould away from the chocolate eggs. Use a sharp cutter and clean the chocolate egg edges.
  7. To get my beautiful gems (rock candies) to stick, I used icing sugar 😁😁 - Mix together icing sugar and some water. Add few drops of food colouring and mix well.
  8. Put a thin layer of coloured icing sugar inside the each egg and fill each egg with pieces of rock candies. Transfer the eggs into the fridge until set. (about 20-30 minutes).1. 1. 1. 1. 1.
