  3. Cut the paneer in small cubes and fry for few seconds and dip into warm water

Heat clarified butter in a kadai, put whole red chilli and bay leaf and whole cumin and asafoetida, let it splatter, add ginger paste saute for some time, add the rest dry masala and Little water and saute for some time, add boiled dal and paneer (not the water). Add salt and sugar to taste, add cashew nuts and raisins
  5. Add the water from the boiled dal if required. Add garam masala. let it cook and dry it.
  6. Serve with hot puri / paratha / roti
