  6. Roll up carefully, using the paper to help you. Pipe the remaining cream on top of the roulade, and decorate with flaked almonds and strawberry halves.

I mean - I have a lot of other delicious recipes too, but my god this one is good. Meringue is considered quite a difficult thing to make, but it is actually very easy as long as you are precise. To make the lemon curd, put the butter into a heatproof bowl, add the sugar and whisk by hand until combined. Add the lemon zest and juice and whisk until smooth. Remove from oven and turn out on a fresh sheet of baking paper, almond side down.
