  11. Make ready as needed Oil for deep frying

Steps to make ,Sooji kakara pitha:
  1. Switch on the gas place a kadhai and pour there water and add there Bay leaves, sugar, salt and mix it properly till the sugar melt then add slowly…..slowly the sooji to it. Note: Don't add sooji at a time other wise lumps would form. Now add ghee to it. Then in a slow flame cover the lid of the kadhai and cook it for 5 mins. keep it aside and bring the tem to your room temperature.
  2. Now take another pan and add there jaggery and coconut mix it properly now add Cardamom and black pepper powder and cook it for 3 to 4 mins. Turn off the gas.
  3. Now side the bay leaves and Knead properly the prepared mix by taking little… little water(only touch of water) make it like our Atta dough but not watery. The Dough must be smooth. Now take a small dough of it and in the centre of the dough fill the stuffing (like when we make our stuff Parantha) and close the top. Keep it aside repeat the same with the other.
  4. It time to fry all kakera pitha. Switch on the gas flame add oil for frying. The oil should be hot fry 3….3 Kakera at a time if one side done then flip it to other side. Check weather it change it's color to little brown then bring it out repeat the same process with the other to make kakera pitha. It done then serve with kheer.
