  1. Prepare 1 . Basmathi rice - 1 cup
  2. Take 2 . Water - 1.5 cups
  3. Make ready 3 . Baby corn - 7 cut or slit
  4. Prepare 4 . Cashews - 5 halved
  5. Get 5 . Ghee - 2 tbsp
  6. Get 6 . Garam masala - 1 tsp
  7. Take 7 . Salt - as needed

Cut the onions lengthwise and the baby corns. Baby corn (also known as young corn, cornlets or baby sweetcorn) is a cereal grain taken from corn (maize) harvested early while the stalks are still small and immature. Here is a simple pulav I made with babycorn. I used one of my favorite spices - Dagad phool.

Instructions to make Babycorn Pulav:
    1. Wash rice and soak for 30 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  1. Heat 1.5 tbsp ghee add baby corn and saute little. Now add garam masala and salt.

  2. Add this to rice add 1.5 cup water cook until rice done.

    1. Heat another tbsp of ghee in kadai add cashews, coriander leaves. Saute till it turns gold. Garnish this into rice.
  3. Serve hot with any spicy curry..
