- Mix all the dry ingredients together
- Add in the margarine and rub together to form a coarse mixture
- Add the egg, coconut milk and warm milk and for a dough.
- Add oil once your dough is ready and let it sit for an hour.(I left mine for 6 hours since I had to rush to the office)
- On a smooth clean surface, apply cooking all and set out a quarter of the dough
- Heat your oil on medium heat for 5 minutes
- Roll it out and cut to desired shapes
- Fry the mandazis until golden brown and set them aside for cooling. I use aluminium foil to cover them.
- Enjoy with a hot cup of tea.
