Steps to make Semifreddo:
- Firstly grease a rectangular tin and put cling on it with hanging some extra portion and keep aside. Now in a big bowl add all the eggs and sugar and keep on the boiled water the bowl as a double boiler and whisk till it turns pale yellow in colour and it forms a ribbon when you pour the batter with the whisker down.
- Next in another big bowl take whipping cream and whipped till it is stiff peak. Now mix this in the egg batter with folding gently. Now mix Vanilla extract and Orange zest and fold gently.
- Now mix the cherries and blueberries and mix gently. Pour the mixture in the prepared tin till the upper level and with spatula level it properly and cover it properly with the extra cling.
- Make sure to cover the extra cling properly else ice crystals will form. Now keep in freezer for at least 6hrs to overnight. Now remove from the freezer and quickly demould Semifreddo else it will start melting and cut into slices.
- Garnish with Freshly red Cherries, dried blueberries, fresh Orange zest, fresh mint leaves and then drizzle some liquid strawberry jam on it. It really tastes superb and very delicious. Something very new dessert🤩😍👌👌😋😋 I enjoyed making it and even eating it. You too give a try😀👍
