  2. Prepare 3-4 tbsp vanilla custard powder

  6. Take Chopped Dryfruits almond, cashews, raisins

This is why you'll commonly hear it called egg custard. Custard can be eaten plain, like pudding, and it is used in creme brûlée and other baked desserts like flan. Spoon into cooled crust and spread evenly with a spatula. Arrange sliced fruit across top of custard.

Steps to make Vanilla fruit Custard:
  1. Wash fruits and chopped chilled them in the fridge. Chopped Dryfruits keep aside.
  2. Heat milk in a wide pan add sugar, cardamom power and stir till it dissolves.
  3. Take a small bowl add custard powder and 2 tbsp milk stir well. When milk turns hot, pour custard mixture in to the hot milk stir well to prevent lumps. Keep stirring and cook on low flame until custard turns thick.
  4. Switch off flame, cool down completely and chill it in the fridge.
  5. Before serving whisk custard add chopped fruits and dry fruits.
  6. Serve fruits& Dryfruits custard immediately.

Use a pastry brush to dab warmed apricot jam onto top of fruit, coating each piece. For best results, serve within a few hours. Pit and halve the cherries (leaving a few whole, if you like). Spoon the cherry jam or compote over the centre of the pavlova, and spread it out to the edges. Beat the chilled custard briefly, then spread it over the jam.
