Makhane ka Halwa step by step instructions: Makhana is also known as phool makhana, lotus seeds, fox nuts, foxnuts, or gorgon nut. It has got a very distinct and delicious taste. The simplest ways to make makhana is by roasting them in very little ghee or just microwave them.   2. Now transfer makhana into a mixer jar and make a coarse powder.Add chestnut flour In a pan add roast it for 4-5 minutes on low flame.Transfer chestnut flour into another plate.
  3. Now add ghee in the same pan,add roasted makhana powder,chestnut flour and roast it for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Now add hot water, sugar, almond powder, cardamom powder, raisins and mix everything well.
  5. Add water till halwa becomes soft. Cook it for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
  6. Makhana halwa is ready to serve. Enjoy it with your loved ones on the occasion of Navratri.
