Instructions to make Raw moong daal with pumpkin and bottle gourd:
- Soak the daal for atleast 20 minutes before cooking
- Heat p l and temper nigella seeds, celery seeds and red chilli
- Add pumpkin and gourd,saute adding salt and turmeric
- Cover it for 10 mnts
- Add the moong daal mix and pour water
- Give it a good boil and then keep.it on a low flame
- Finally add sugar and remove from the oven to serve
Bottle gourd, Whole Moong, Toor curry goes well with Chapatis, rotis, poori, dosa, idli. rice and even bread toast. She adds cucumber, pumpkin, snakegourd and stuff like that.
