  9. Brush with eggwash and give it time to rise as you light your jiko.
  10. Take a bigger sufuria and put mawe/pebbles(I used a metallic bowl), followed by the lid containing the buns. Cover with a bigger lid.
  11. When the jiko is lit, put the charcoal on top of the lid as shown
  12. How it looks like 20 mins into baking. I let it bake for 5 more mins to achieve a nice golden colour.
  13. Voilà. Our buns are ready. Serve with tea or your favourite soup.
  14. If using an oven bake for 15-20mins at 180°c
