Instructions to make Chana Dal Palak:
- Add oil to Pan, let it to be hot. Then add Chopped onions.Fry until get golden.
- Then add zeera, fry it for few seconds.
- Then add ginger and garlic and Chopped green chillies, & mix well.
- Now add tomatoes, and fry at low flame until get soft.
- Add all spices, add some water that spices may not be burn….. Give it a good mix.
- When smell well, then add palak & cook it for 5 minutes.
- Finally add dal, add half cup of water.Cover the pan & on low flame cook it well until oil become visible.
This palak chana too have been in my to try list for long. Had some fresh baby spinach and had soaked chana for making chole for dinner. Thought of giving it a try. I have used baby spinach in this recipe, you can replace with Indian palak. You can try it out as it is something both like palak paneer and chana masala.
