  1. Get 750 gm Palak (spinach)
  2. Take 2-3 Aloo (potato)
  3. Get 1/4 cup Oil
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup Dahi (yoghurt)
  5. Make ready 1 Piyaz (onion)
  6. Take 1 Tsp Zeera (cumin)
  7. Get 1 Tsp Salt
  8. Take 1 Tsp Lal mirch powder (red chilli)
  9. Take 1/2 Tsp Haldi (termuric)
  10. Take 1 Tsp Adrak Lehsun paste (ginger garlic paste)
  11. Get 6-8 Sabut Lal Mirch (Whole Red Chilli)
  12. Make ready Few sprigs of Soya

Take wheat flour, salt, spinach puree and oil in a bowl and mix well. Slowly add water as needed and knead to a soft dough. Once done, remove the cooked aloo palak paratha from the tawa and keep in insulated container. Repeat the same for rest of the paratha.

Steps to make Palak Aloo with Chapati:
  1. Chop Palak leaves & stems as well (leave the thick end part of stem).then wash throughly in plenty of water to remove dirt nicely.heat oil in a pan.add zeera,let it crackle, then add sliced onion & fry to pink. Add sabut lal mirch, leave them to crackle in oil for a minute or two so as to soak oil a bit over low heat. Dont burn.
  2. Mix lal mirch,haldi,salt in dahi well. Add ginger garlic paste in onion, fry for 2 minute.add dahi in pan & cook over medium till masala is fried& oil seprates.add aloo cut in bite size pieces.mix well in masala.add 1-2 Tbsp water & fry aloo in masala.
  3. Add chop palak.mix well.cover & cook over low heat.water from palak& aloo help to cook itself. Check in between & if needed add little water only. When all water is dried up & aloo are tender& coated well with palak.add few sprigs of soya.turn off heat.coverthe pan.
  4. Serve Palak Aloo with garma garam chapati & enjoy with Cookpad.

Serving suggestion: Serve aloo palak paratha as a breakfast or light meal with pickle or a small bowl of plain yogurt or any raita of your choice. It can be served with curry or sabji too. Dust the balls and flatten each ball with a rolling pin and make small round disc length chapati. Make balls with the potato masala/aloo masala. Now take a small round disc length chapati, place a potato ball in the center.
