The ingredients needed to make Chena Payas:
  1. Make ready 1 ltr Full Fat Milk
  2. Make ready 500 ml Ful Fat Milk for chena
  3. Prepare 2 cups sugar
  4. Take as needed Few strands of Kesar
  5. Get 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  6. Prepare 1 full lime juice
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp yellow food colour
Steps to make Chena Payas:
  1. Heat 1 ltr milk in one vessel
  2. Heat 500 ml milk in another vessel
  3. Crush 1 tsp sugar and Kesar together. Make cardamom powder
  4. Now when the milk is boiled 1ltr, in this add Kesar, sugar and cardamom powder
  5. And in the 500 ml add lime juice and make Chena.
  6. Smash the Chena and add yellow food colour and again mix well. Make all balls
  7. In one vessel make chasni and add the balls, cover and cook for 6-7 mins.
  8. Remove from the chasni and add the balls in the prepared milk.
  9. Garnish with Kesar and serve
