- cut stems of artichokes
- remove outer most leaves on bottom and trim remaining leaves with sheers.
- steam or boil artichokes to personal prefrence.
- while artichokes are cooking combine remaining ingredients until blended smoothely
- when done cooking be sure artichoi are drained completely.
- while artichokes are still warm but not to hot to work with seperate leaves partially
- spoon, finger press, rubber spatula ( which ever method works best for you) the blended herb butter into all the leaves and center.
- if to cool to serve place in 350 oven for 3-5 minutes.
- serve.
The majority of the work is all in making the garlic white wine butter sauce. The simple white wine butter sauce is also perfect for spooning on top of grilled fish or seafood. Keep in mind that the sauce will be on the thin side. Rub the entire artichoke half on all sides with a lemon wedge (to help prevent browning) Brush the artichokes with olive oil (or butter). Then place them cut-side-up in a baking dish, or on a baking sheet.
