Instructions to make The Pinup:
  1. In a pony glass (which is just a fancy name for a tall, skinny shot glass) pour your Grenadine into the bottom third of the glass.
  2. This is where it gets tricky. To layer the chocolate liqueur on top of the Grenadine, take a spoon and hold it over the glass…don't leave much space between the glass and the spoon or the drink won't layer right.
  3. SLOWLY…and I mean drop by drop…add the chocolate liqueur on top of Grenadine. The more slow you go, the less chance the drink will mix and you'll achieve that perfect layered effect. Let the liqueur dribble down off spoon until the second third of glass is filled.
  4. Repeat the same layering technique with the whipped cream vodka.
  5. Here's the rule of thumb for all layered shots. All lower proof alcohol should be on bottom. The higher the proof, the lighter density it is…therefore it will float on top of the lower proof liquors/liqueurs.
  6. Last but not least, drink it like a shot…all in one drink. The flavors together taste like a chocolate cherry covered in whipped cream. May be sweet, but this shot is deadly! Enjoy :-)
